Really, surprising

 

Such a pity with guitar skills like that he didn’t produce original material in his own right. But I guess if you need to feed the kids then covers it is.

 

Chas & Dave are easy to take the piss out of but they know what they're doing and they just well... entertain. Chas goes back a long way as a session musician but got fed up with the 'rock & roll' lifestyle and started to do what he loves.

Here's their last performance on Later before Chas died in 2018 and anyone who can get gudgeon in his lyrics is worthy of respect...

massive respect for Dave Peacock. How many people can say they were in a band called The Rolling Stones before the other four imposters rocked up and used the name?
My favourite by far :-
