What Permanent Pen To Use?

  1. I used to admire him, then I read his autobiography after which I wasn't so sure, (in fact disappointed) although I admit he can ride.

  2. Do you mean because he's a Tory? I found that brought him down in my opinion. He can ride, but then Mussolini made the trains run on time... or something.

  4. I didn't even know he voted conservative. I don't really care what he votes, everyone is allowed their view on this. At the risk of opening a can of worms and going off thread, I've voted conservative for most of my life but have to admit I did vote labour once which helped Tony Blair get in (and don't regret that) as the Tories were a bunch of xxxxxx at that time. Just like now really. But then there's no way I'd vote Labour now! Or Lib Dem.

To get back on thread, (and I need to be careful in case he's a member on this forum) I was disappointed with how he came across in his 2000 biography. There are a lot of things he did to get to where he wanted to be which were underhand, rude, disrespectful, verged on cheating and were not what I would have expected from the icon I had him as in my mind. Just my opinion and personal views. I was so disappointed I couldn't even finish reading the book,

  6. After he has signed it, don't forget to flat it off with some 1200 grit wet and dry..

  7. “I couldn’t even finish reading the book “

I couldn’t finish reading Fogartys book because it’s so shit!, just reading John Mcguiness “built for speed” much better and mr Mcguiness isn’t a nob.
(That said he did charge me a tenner for it and when I looked on the back it was £8.99 :) )

  8. I have his new book signed by him at a recent event I went to. He was very amiable and a funny guy to listen to for a couple of hours.
I haven't read the book yet but hopefully it won't lessen my opinion of him as a rider.

  9. I bought johns book for a tenner as well, when he asked what i wanted him sign in it i asked could he write, " for mcd number1 my hero" he looked at me laughed and just signed his name.

  10. If fogarty signs your panel make sure you have a pic of the bike without the signature, if you ever want to sell then you can use that pic.....i once e mailed a chap on e bay selling a ducati minichamps signed by foggy and offered him an extra £20 if he could remove the signature , his reply was to say the least rather confused......i dont think he liked me taking the pish.
