  5. What are you going to do about those filthy few truck drivers who just will not abide by the rules
of fair play on the road ?

The sort of thick-skulled people who truly benefit from having the lesson spanked into them .

I recommend the Swingfire missile ..... I always have .
Check it out .... you can send it round corners !

It's obsolete now , so they can be picked up fairly cheaply these days .

Note : On some models , the oil breather box may need to be relocated to make it fit under the seat

  6. Leatherman and my RAC membership card

  7. Standard Ducati tool kit, puncture repair kit, fuses, cable ties, a length of cable with spades on the end to temperarily bypass a duff relay and a small multitool.

I might add a few spanners when I go away though.

  8. I must be really stupid have been out looking at my M1200 monster and cannot find the place to store the 1m breaker bar that fits on the hub socket to remove the rear wheel. :worried:

But then i also cant find the place to store the ratchet handle for the spline socket to adjust the chain. :worried::worried:

I guess i will use RAC until its value drops too low - then i will use a match:bomb::bomb::upyeah:

  9. You could strap it to your back as a kind of 'whiplash ariel' and start a new fashion trend - like dog ears on your helmet :D

  10. Or get a gun! Dunno what help that it could possibly give you with to fixing your bike, but you would feel very American.....You could then grow a gut and get a Harley. More room for weapons then...

  11. Rattle gun may be handy for the rear nut - and perhaps tow a generator or air compressor to operate it

  12. Couldn’t you just tie them together and tow them on a length of rope?, might clatter a bit and don’t brake too hard of course.
Alternatively just tension your chain at home and carry a puncture repair kit, (radical idea I know :) )

  13. Maybe he could rig something up the the exhaust for the rattle gun and jam the throttle open at 10k revs?
EDIT: just thought he’d need front and rear stands, maybe attach those to the breaker bar rope?.

  15. Yes breaker bar! The one time I had to call AA a breaker bar and clutch holder etc would have allowed me to re-tighten the fairly recently dealer fitted new clutch basket which had loosened off!! Memories of the 350 single when the flywheel would work loose until re-tightened using 2p bits as clutch basket holder! Funny how my modern Ducatis had similar problems to ancestors like sprag clutch (999) and starter motor issues (Pantah) versus the narrow case habit of scrunching kickstart quadrant gears.. So I just have a few allen keys normally and mobile for AA.

  16. Here is what I carry. Inside the zipper bag is rubber strings, rubber cement, electrical tapes, steel wires, pair of gloves. I also carry a Stop n Go pump. They all fit inside my US-5 Kriega bag, together with a set of rain clothes.

  19. You meant the tool roll? It made by Kriega. Highly recommended for its sturdiness. https://kriega.us/accessories-1/tool-roll
