Look out for friends of mine, Steve & Janette Douglas on their Triumph Tiger 800XC. Started in Alaska 5 years ago, now in South America, Peru I think.
I used to work for the same firm as him and I asked, "how long are you planning on being away Steve"? "As long as it takes" he said
Just booked the ferry for end of June, over into Belgium down through Germany then the Vosges for four nights then back up through France to Belgium then back to Blighty 8 nights in all Done Spain for the last four years and kinda miss France .
Meet up in Wales in April, Porlock weekend May, August to the Classic TT & Moffat end of September....... bit of a quite year for the bikes. I'll have to get a few more in , last year was alot busier
So entry to Tibet is currently out of the question due to Corona Virus. Watching developments carefully. Hoping that it will be under control in the next few months!
June, ferry from Newcastle and then down to Newchurch Moto Festival in Austria. Run around West Austria / Italian Dolomites/ North Slovenia for a week then back via the Mosel area to the ferry. August , a planned "Alps & Dolomites" trip. 10 days, takes in the Black Forrest . Swiss Alps, Grossglockner, Dolomites, Vosges and back for the ferry to Newcastle(again).. all on my new 950S, can't wait.
