  6. You need wheels with small axle on the rear for SSS and six brake disc bolts wheel on the front. The OEM rear is 5.5" but you can squeeze 6.0" wheel and it will not rub on the SSS.

That means you can get any wheels starting from 916 up to 998 Testastretta SB. You can also get wheels from 04 - 06 S4R with the Desmo engine and the 04 - 06 S2R with the 800cc engine.

You can still get rear wheel from 06 - 08 S4R and S4RS with the Testastretta engine as they have the small rear axle but the front wheel will not be a straight swap because Ducati switched to five disc brake bolts from then on on all bikes. You could convert to five bolt but you would have to get new brake discs.

The front discs on the five and six bolt wheels on Superbikes have 5mm offset so they are more exposed to airstream to increase cooling. The S4R and S4RS don't have that offset. So the S4R/S discs won't fit if you decide to convert to five bolt wheel.

The brake discs are 320mm diameter on all the six bolt wheels. They are 320mm on 06 - 08 S4R/S and all the lower cc Superbikes.

Ducati went to 330mm diameter discs starting on 1098 so they won't fit with your axial calipers as you can't use spacers that can be used on radial caliper forks to convert to 330mm discs.
