What Whiskey Are You Drinking?

Mrs bought me this for Christmas so would be rude not to try it.
It’s very Smokey, but I do like it.

not right now. but i will be later.

 

My all time favourite. The Balvenie on doublewood. Difficult to find around here at the moment.

 

Tried Whiskey once never again

Come on it’s just rebadged Dettol.

yip, the balvenie is the biz. you dont even need to drink it to enjoy it. just waft it under your nose every now and then. superb.

 

Got this for my birthday a couple of months ago



Thought the first of the new year was a good occasion to sample it.
Very nice indeed...

 

Not seen that before, nice.
We are having this special Rioja with beef at dinner time.

Somebody was well pissed before they finished the dram, look at scribbling on the label ffs.

 

Tried Lagavulin, tasted like Elastoplast.

 

Have you tried Laphroaig?

 

Anyone tried these yet? They do make a difference from the reviews I've seen:

The drinking vessel IME, has a major influence on the drinking experience. Not immediately drawn to that though. Andy

 

They do a clear version too. Quite interesting. I'm a coffee aficionado too so I might get some and try for espresso as well as whisky.
