What Whiskey Are You Drinking?

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by West Cork Paul, Nov 14, 2018.

  1. Thank you. Went up and did a tour of Islay last September as those are my favourite whiskys. Talisker & Highland Park are good for me as well; maybe I'm just an island whisky fan?

If you haven't tried Balvenie that's not a bad Speyside for something different.

  3. Aberfeldy 16yr is an absolute gem.

Have just finished another bottle of Glenlivet Caribbean which is a pleasant drop.

Also highly recommend Benriach The Twelve!!

  7. Worth getting a Tesco Clubcard just for their whisky offers. Laphroaig currently @£30 and Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold @£26 amongst others. If you do & you like Islay, look out for Smokehead. :upyeah:

  12. That was literally out the front door and cross the road from the cottage. Will definitely return as I go a lot further up through the year

  14. Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 4 tonight.

Reading the thread about the crated Anniversario for sale prompted me to open one of the birthday ones rather than let them sit in the cupboard unopened.
