Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by John W, Jun 12, 2021.

  1. These are the new online release dates:
    • September 30, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 1 | Your everyday wonder
    • October 14, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 2 | Mark your roots
    • October 28, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 3 | Rule all mountains
    • November 11, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 4 | A new Fighter in town
    • November 25, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 5 | The evolution of Speed
    • December 9, 2021: Ducati World Première - Episode 6 | Dream Wilder - DesertX
I’m interested in the Streetfighter SP, but wondering if the proposed PP will be Mark your roots?

  2. So…..….

Episode 2 or 3 will be the new Pikes Peak
Episode 4 will be the V2 Streetfighter
They’ve ruined the surprise for Episode 6!

    What will the others be???

Maybe a more powerful Monster will be one of them.

  3. The new "pike's peak"

  5. Adam Child has ridden it. There is a report on the Bennett’s insurance website.
Shall we have a sweep on how much it will cost? I’m betting £23k

  6. An interesting, informative and teasing write up. If delivered even close to this prototype, it'll be entertaining. Andy

  7. Nah, £25k at least.

  8. I can see it being badged as a Multi SP...and priced accordingly.

  9. 25k. In UK things. How much in Euros? Nah. Priced out of market.
    Just. Not. That. Special.

  10. interesting the 4th mode is now race rather than enduro. So clearly more track / tarmac focused and more in line with how it will get used.
Not sure it will tempt me enough to splash the cash from what I'm seeing, especially if it is £20k+.

  11. This release is clever marketing to give potential buyers the notion its ready for track. Like you say, if its priced to high it will be a very small market but i suspect Ducati can live with that. I think we are heading for a world where all bikes/cars/vans will be built to factory order.

  12. The clever money is on £24-25k.

  13. Probably touching 30kEuros. No way.
Would prefer two good used bikes. Which is kind of what I have done already.

  14. I see they are going back to the 2010 Ohlins semi active set up :bucktooth:
I reckon 23k and 5k and a dry bumming for the system.
It's going to have to be really special for me to part with my old bike.

  15. More likely to be the Ohlins active suspension from the Panigale V4. And yes, I can't see an Akrapovic decat system being affordable :joy: Andy

  16. May even be called the Hyperstrada as the old version is not made any more.

  17. Oh dear. That hits all my checkboxes, including the semi-active Ohlins. Ordering, and time to move my '10 1200S on.

  18. The akra system shouldn't cost anymore than the one for the V4S at £2.3k, one of Ducatis less expensive options. :D

The engine appears to be identical.

  19. £23k is what I've heard
