  3. That sounds well above my meagre capabilities TBH. Know your limits!
And not in the market really until Nov earliest.

  5. Update.

I found one. In deepest, darkest Devon.

Cannot quite believe how quickly this happened but I have a lightly crash damaged 2010 Triumph Daytona 675 back in the garage secured for a very favourable price (good enough to make me drive nearly 400 miles to collect it the day after the offer was accepted). The only problem I have faced so far was that i had no time to lay any groundwork with SWMBO and she did kick off a little:skull:. But she has started to calm down now :innocent:

Its had 3 owners, 6000 miles, excellent service history, MoT every year bar one to back up the mileage.
The damage is mainly cosmetic so its just a case of sourcing the necessary parts and bolting them on (famous last words o_O). Last owner had a slow speed lowside on some gravel and works away on the rigs did not have the time nor inclination to repair. His loss is my gain.

Once done, time to play, much cheaper than worrying about throwing a Ducati 996 up the track that's for sure.

No thread on this one as its going to be pretty boring (and its a Triumph).

  9. Just tell her it was a bargain, that’s always the excuse I get whenever something appears that I’m not forewarned about.

  13. But that’s the problem. It’s subjective. You might agree with me or you might side with my beautiful wife. Then I would be in even more bother.
