Yes but it was lack of funds rather than any other consideration, but I've seen the error of my ways.
Mazda MX5 is a good buy IMHO. They are a future classic - in a few years time they will be going up in value and lots of folk will want one, like a Midget/Sprite now. But you will have to keep it well maintained in the meanwhile so you might have to spend more on fixing it than it is worth in the short term.
