I bought a tank of him early this year- under one of his other Ebay accounts - arranged to meet at his house, a terraced street. He wasn't in but rang me and said he would be 5 mins. He came 5 mins later in his car with the tank, did the deal and drove off again without going into the house, thought it was strange - maybe not his house but if not I guess he knew no one would be in!
It would be ideal if we make a list of his ebay account names, least then buyers can be aware of his aliases.
At the moment he has 126 listings on eBay. I wonder how many of them have honest descriptions. I only remember him as Rebornwarrior which is listed as his previous ID before becoming elitesuperbikeparts1. @Chris.P how did he end up with your bike out of interest?
I have bought lots of parts from him. He gives me a very healthy discount. Been to his house, then another after moving, his garages and more recently, he has a unit. Also he has posted parts to me. You have to put aside any description and buy as seen and inspected. Make him low-ball offers and complete the deal and he will be willing to do a deal more readily in the future. He has lots of messers who strike up a deal, only to waste his time. After advertising some parts recently on here, I know how he feels. Although blatant lies and miss-describing isn't on. harcos999 was another id.
I had the bike listed for sale on ebay and he bought it out of ebay, say how much he was looking forward to buying etc, etc, was pissed that he then immediately broke it for sale etc, but his bike at the end of the day to do woth as he pleases, at time of sale there was only 75 748r's listed as on the road, but what really got me pissed off was the lies he was using to sell the bike parts
i hate selling my stuff, once i start doing work on them they become like family. stupid i know but i can get really attached to my lumps of metal.
If as he says the speedo was missing from Chris's bike, then the mileage is "unknown" and not some fabricated low figure... Pants on fire...:Muted:
Well I visited his unit today to pick up the stuff I bought. All I can say is I has no problem whatsoever. The parts were as described, he seemed very reasonable. I would have no problem buying from him again.
Hi all, I purchased a traction control wiring system from him for my 848, unfortunately he got me to send the money via the bank not ebay....it does not fit, and now after finally finding him as elitesuperbikeparts he says I am out of time. Where does he live, I would like to pay him a visit to get my 500 quid back? Or to take him to court, ebay are no help?
Have you got all parts required? Dash, full loom, dtc box, main ecu (has to be one from a dtc equipped bike), front wheels sensor, front brake disc with dtc pips on the bobbins.
Seems to me he is commiting numerous 'frauds by false representation' criminal offence and makes no difference if he is on eBay he is in England and governed by the law of the land.
Being devils advocate here. You bought a dtc loom hoping it will be a straight swap but it isn't. There isn't anything actually wrong with it though. You have found out that it didnt fit after the return period but want a refund. You paid by bank transfer, instead of paypal, to get it cheaper then complain that you have no recourse for a refund. I hope you get the outcome you want, however i cant see where he is at fault legally. Morally is a different matter.
