  2. Medium rare, rib eye with tumble weed onions, crispy potato wedges, garlic mushrooms and petit pois. Unusually for us, decided to open a bottle of wine which was an old vine, Garnacha from the Aragon region of Spain. Complimented the steak perfectly. Been a long but enjoyable day and looking forward to whatever the coming week has to offer. Andy

  3. Thanks @Zhed46 and it was bought from a local farm shop. Shooting pheasant in the morning and cooking it in the evening would be a great way to do it but my life can't fit another time consuming hobby!

  11. Tuna mayo baguette tonight, the last healthy meal I’ll be having for the next 10 days!
     
  12. Salmon, courgettes, roasted peppers, shallots, capers, anchovies, basil, oregano, chilli and garlic on a bowl of linguine with grated parmigiana.

    Simple quick and very tasty.
     
  13. Field mushrooms on toast topped with kale, black pudding and fried eggs

  16. Throwing the boat out tonight with the culinary delights of boiled potatoes, mushy peas and fish fingers
    Tartare and tomato sauce optional.
    Brewdogs Hazy Jane is not!

  17. Tonight will be Broth with suet dumplings.
    There was a veggie pack on offer for 24p, all I need to add is some cabbage, sorted.

  18. A lamb Vindaloo, been on for a few hours.
    Found a thing called Mooli which is a big white radish, really interesting flavour, works well with mustard oil and green chillis.
    Some sour chickpeas and rice, should be great.

  19. half a Tesco chicken Tikka Masala Curry "kit" with left-over rice and peas and Encona hot sauce.

  20. Got chicken butter beans and potatoes in smoked paprika and tomato and chicken stock in slow cooker
    Another stew of sorts :yum
