last time I dined out was a scary long time ago with my old mate Tim in Woking.
I used to go to the Chu Chin Chow in West Byfleet regularly, it had a massive following at that time, it's closed now apparently. Also went to this "branch" at Hampton Court around 3 times.

Ah yes, that’s the wife. When I wear her clothes I only bother with the underwear.

 

Homemade lasagne tonight. Slow cooked the bolognese for 12 hours, made a cheese bechemel, fresh pasta and a three cheese topping. Was outstanding.

 

A leftovers special, it doesn’t look much, but is gorgeous. Easy cook rice and loads of parsnip chunks hanging around, added half a large tin of pink salmon, half a tin of chicken soup and then garlic, turmeric, squeeze of tomato purée, and seasoning. Purposely used all the “liquor “out of the pink salmon can.
