BBQ!!!! (same as every night this week ) Ribs and sausages from the local butchers this evo. Coleslaw, salad, baby new potatoes and some crusty bread.
To the Frog, a lovely pub not far from us, top haddock and chips, the liver and bacon is epic, all the pub classics. They always have an interesting choice of guest ales, can't wait.
It’s Burns night so haggis, neeps and tattles but slightly pimped. The mashed tattles are done with butter, olive oil, flat leaf parsley and whole grain mustard; the neeps are mixed with carrots and some black pepper and are served champit. The haggis is unadulterated as it should be.
We’re having Balmoral chicken on Saturday, but I’m going to get some extra haggis, as there won’t be enough in there for me.
