Didn't know Leylandii were edible ? What’s it taste like, please don’t say it tastes like chicken

 

They put a piece of charcoal in it, so it was gently smoking while you ate the steak tartare, to give you an intense flavour. I wasn’t brave/ drunk enough to eat the shrubbery.

 

That reminds me, I must cut the hedges this weekend!

 

Last nights dinner was a bit more normal. Ish!

Only one piece of meat on tonights bbq, forerib of beef, it was fantastic

 

Home made by me cottage pie, beans and crusty bread with a lot of lurpak.

After a shower, I’m heading over to fire up the BBQ for a family get together and I know I’ll be cooking Wagu beef, beef burgers to be served in buttered, brioche buns I suspect lots of other interesting food too and of course, lashings of chilled beer and good company. Andy
