Mark Knopler has some epic guitar solo's but there are so many artists and so many songs that it depends on ones mood at the time in my view.
But there's so many ?? I think anything from Dire Straits Alchemy album could make the list also. For guitarists or guitar riffs, I would really need a top 30 at least, as its the most listened to music in my house or car. My personal choice, mood depending ?? Making movies by Dire Straits was brill too.. also just about Thin Lizzie track with the twin guitars playing the riffs.. great sound miss them boys..
