I had a battle with my Monster 1200 with the 55MM nut. On rear stand, in neutral. Impact gum was not touching it (1st time rear off from factory). A little bit of plus gas and some heat from a heat gun (not too much) and the nut was off with impact gun, just in neutral, wheel free to spin. There was a little bit of corrosion between the dished shaped washer and the nut, so greased that up when tightening. For tightening, then foot on rear brake and used large torque wrench.
I have a request. Can someone please tell me the weight of their CEW 1100 in the box with all the extra sockets etc.? I'm trying to get one sent to me in Finland from a buddy in Northern Ireland to avoid import duties (bloody Brexit!) and he has no way to weigh the parcel! (He can't get to the Post Office while they are open. I assume he will have someone drop the package to the Post Office once I have sent him the labels) Some assistance would be appreciated.
