Hopefully soon. I'm starting to look at the bikes longingly again. Maybe in a month or so I can get out. Commuting on the scooter is doing nothing to scratch my itch.
Tomorrow is looking OK, I'm hoping to put the thermals on and get out in the afternoon, Hein Gericke in Oxford has now become J&S so might have a mooch around there.
It's here in my house My pets are frisky and my catfish had 6 babies or so I thought . Suddenly about 150 of them came out if their cave !!!!!! Everything here is at it !! Except me
Yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far. 15c in London and I was out in my workshop and had to take my work jacket off for the first time this year as I was getting too warm.
Unseasonably warm here. I even took the bike out for a quick spin yesterday. Just leathers and t-shirt. Nice.
Yes, and it's 19° today. But apparently the temp is going to drop over the weekend and on Sunday it is meant to be 3° with snow at 500m. I am at 600m. Bugger. At least the fruit trees haven't quite blossomed, than God, or it will be another non fruit year (to go with last year, and the year before). I am still hoping we will get a bumper year like 2011 and I can make kirsch again out of a barrel of cherries. Last year there was literally about one single cherry.
