Cheers - fantastic bike. Wish I still had it - running with blue flames it sounded like a spitfire lol. Thought bout buying another, but backed off as not always good idea to try to "recreate". Oh for one messed up left hander!!!
kind of miss my Husqvarna CR500 but then I remember having to start it and now I dont Also had a 500 Montjuic- be quite nice to have in garage but wouldnt want to ride in preferance to the SF
My Cagiva V-raptor. It was pink when I bought it then had a full transformation. Awesome bike to look at and ride.
My FS1 E would have been my second choice. Me and the machine 1979 There was always a debate as to what was faster; the AP 50 or FS1 E ( the Honda SS 50 never stood a chance!) Sadly me being a bit of a lardy ensured I was overtaken on any hill
mine would be my 1999 R1 , bought new and kept for 7 years, part ex ed it for a new CBR1000rr , and my 1971 lambretta GP200, built it myself from a bare frame and engine case including the paintwork, tuned to 240cc, most fun you can have on 2 small wheels
Oh no the pic of the lambretta gives me the shivers.................. No not the bike, the horrible yellow Maestro in the background, just like the one I used to drive (shudders)!
Most definetely my Honda Fireblade, Urban Tiger colours, RR-S model, 1995. Beautiful machine, only bike i've ever had complete confidence in its abilities, done some crazy stuff on it and got away with it. Sadly sold it in 2007 to a guy in Surrey, you may see it at Boxhill. If you do let me know! The numberplate was M569 EVL, aka EVIL! The writing underneath didn't do much to help my innocence coming back from Boxhill one Sunday. With my own 'fettled' full Yoshi exhaust it was healthy enough to lift the front up @100 in 2nd . I'd say 90% of my most cherished motorbike memories are upon this bike. Regret to this day selling it, but it was the right decision back then.
Aint sold it yet but i will be gutted when my 749s mono goes up for sale in the spring. Getting pelters for havin 2 ducatis and could do with the cash
There are days I regret writing off Dizzy Now I wish I had just bought her back At the time I was adamant I was never riding again :-(
