Yep, I have experience of that. MS one too I know use duct tape on the tyre contact parts. I keep meaning to buy a roll of this stuff https://www.vikingtapes.co.uk/p-1038-ptfe-coated-glass-cloth-adhesive-tape.aspx#.Uid9bjY3tAk . I seem to have mislaid the roll I had.
Aye. I've ratchet strapped the Bike Grab to the forward tie down points. The bike just then needs handle bar ratchet straps to the same points and the whole thing is totally rigid. I've just driven it from Somerset to London this morning and then from London to FE in Sussex after work. Jobs a good 'un
I'm now totally sold on the Bike-Grab. I collected my bike from Focussed Events on its return from Italy, loaded it straight into the van and headed for the Channel Tunnel for a drive down to Magny Cours via a few days in Paris. On reaching home several thousand miles later the whole bike transport process was totally painless. With a couple of straps to secure the Bike-Grab and handlebar straps for the bike it is rock solid and so quick and easy to load and unload. Highly recommended
