Which Dealer?

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by shakeys dad, Jun 28, 2014.

  1. I had a road test at cov on the 1199 s and David the Sales manager there was brill. Ended up buying a second hand Panigale ABS from Wolverhampton though as the insurance on a brand newen was ridiculous. Wolverhampton initially didn't seem that fussed when i inquired about the bike and went to see it. The manager said he couldn't do a deal on it for me and said to make an offer and then wait a couple of days until the sales team was back to discuss it. I knew this was the bike for me so phoned back a couple of days later, spoke to the manager (who couldn't initially do the deal) and said he would knock some cash off and did the deal. Apart form that the rest of the coms were great and when went to pick up the bike he ran through everything. Guess we'll see how i get on with the after service.

I would have preferred to get one from JHP as they were helpful from the off and also closer but got pretty good service from wolverhampton, so i would recommend both of them

  2. Can't fault JHP to date with my Multi.

Buying, servicing and adding bits to it. They have been good and helpful on all.

  3. Pro Twins are always good of a deal :)

    Great service too

  4. picked up the 899 this morning and must say the service I got from jhp and dave the sales manager was excellent. that's not to say wolves would have any worse but im glad I went there. but why cant they sell bikes already run in. 6000revs is so frustrating

  5. You can still get to about 85mph at 6k revs

  6. Well there ya go. ;)
