I prefer Tom tom, but whatever you like get MyRoute-App, it's fantastic if you like planning routes, and well worth the subscription.
You can use the Zumo XT trip planner instead of base camp. I sometimes use myscenicdrives.com if I wish to import gpx files into the Zumo.
