888....no contest for me. The 851/888 range are the best looking Ducatis in my opinion. The 916 range kind of had too much styling....trying to hard, bit of a posers bike. Also you rarely see any 851/888 on the road (regardless of whether it's an SPS or not) so they're a lot more individual. I am biased though.
888 for me and in red If I could have one of your two bikes then 888 it would be just so your clear where I am No sugar in my coffee thanks
I'd have an 1198 (or maybe an original Diavel) and give it the Louigi treatment but I wouldn't buy a current bike from Ducati or anything newer than 2012. Customer service and reliability seems to have gone backwards while prices have risen. Austrian or German for me if buying new, or maybe British.
Sorry.. Hmm.. Well in that case its more tricky. Has to be the 916 in the end because it hasn't dated. At the time, I thought the 888 wouldn't date. It has. A bit. Well they both have, obviously, but to me the 916 still looks good in the same way a Manx Norton still looks good.
