30,000 miles now on my 2001 748S... should I be getting worried at all..?

1997 748 biposto owned from new. Passed 76040 km's two days ago. Engine/gearbox never been apart.

I know the 998 wasn't considered in this thread, and thats probably because of the testastretta engine, but hopefully it is ok that I post here. My 2002 has 39,xxx and is running strong. I ride it almost every day and it never disappoints.

 

Just bought a very nice 748 with 49000 miles showing. Runs really sweetly. Previous owner had it for 16 years, and obviously treated it well.

 

After my December 2020 post and returning from my French road trip last week, a small update.

Reached 80000 km's [50000 mls] whilst riding through some of the most famous vinyards around Bordeaux two weeks ago. Mileage was at 81183 on landing back in Blighty. Watching those digits click round felt like 'achievement'.
Engine/gearbox still not been apart.

 

29K and climbing...

 

70,000 miles on my 748. Still running very well.

Do I get the silver medal?

 

24k on my 748. Not even worth mentioning. Nuke this post lol.

 

I should have added that I did 65k on my previous (bought from new) yellow 748, sadly SMIDSY'd.
