1200 Who Gives The Best Ducati Service In The South?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by kevpix, Apr 27, 2014.

  1. I have never used Snells but I do use Motorapido and highly recommend them!

They were servicing my multi in the past and now my hypermotard. Really good people, very helpful and very nice coffee ;) !!

  2. I have used MotoRapido for both my services on the Multi so far and they have been spot on!

Everyone raving about Louigi Moto but my mate used him and he was extremely expensive, he also quoted a much lower price than what was actually charged, no doubt he is an excellent mechanic and very experienced though.

Maybe my mate was naive and should have been more diligent.

  3. +1 for Louigi Moto

  4. Ducati doesnt equal cheap however you look at it

  5. I might have to revise my opinion of P&H, I just emailed them about the non functioning heated grips and that I need an MOT by May 13th and was told the first slot they have is 28th May!

    Anyone tried Pro-Twins?

  6. MotoRapido are superb. They look after ally Ducatis. The service guys are excellent, and the sales guys too. I can't recommend them highly enough.

  7. Why not stay with CMW. You bought the bike from them, they are Ducati trained so stay with them. Providing the service is done by the book then there is no problem with warranty. As for resale value I cannot see it would make any difference.

  8. I use Protwins, always happy with their work and would recommend them. Pete is very friendly at the service desk. I don't think they do MOTs on site.
If your after a short notice roll up and get it done jobby, Fins Motorcycles in Redhill is your answer.

  9. The best dealer for service in the south is Pro-Twins in Godstone - IMHO.

In the middle of nowhere, you need a cab or a lift to get to and from it but the Technicians are the best. I have had 2 Multis from them and I would go not go anywhere else and definitely not P&H. That's based on the experiences of a mate who has a Multi and has to use P&H for Warranty stuff.

  10. Are you sure he has to use P&H? I bought from OYB who gave me a good deal but now go to a local dealer even for warranty.

  11. Spoke with Pro Twins, they wanted my chassis number, I called the next day with it and they said they would call back to confirm the fork leg recall and other warranty work (they are a Ducati dealer). But no call after 6 days...

Spoke with P&H and we have the bike booked in for MOT as they offer a free MOT on all their S/HY bikes (Otherwise I would have gone to Fins). Warranty work booked in. I spoke to Marcus and he said the problem is they are selling so many new bikes that the workshop is getting swamped. They are looking to see if they can do anything to help the situation.

  12. Snell's ... simply superb!

  13. Any Dealer can carry out warranty work
