Discussion in 'Tyres' started by JamOnIt, Apr 18, 2017.

  1. Ive got them on 2bikes so will keep you up to date
    1 road bike
    1 track bike

  2. What pressure you running?

  3. Pretty sure my mate put 34/34 in when he fitted them. He always puts a bit more when brand new. I'll probs go 32/32 this weekend and see how they feel.

  4. Went out at lunchtime, 30F 32R cold was pretty much spot on with the 10/20 theory. Is a very hot day though so may need to change when normal English weather resumes.

  5. Mine have arrived but I doubt I'll be fitting them, they're still wrapped in the plastic as supplied, if anyone wants a buy a new set gimme me a shout (can deliver to Silverstone Ducati day) sizes: 180/60 120/70.

  6. How come?

  7. They're a bit too dual-purpose for my requirements as I don't ride on the road any more.

  8. Yeah, definitely no super corsa.

  9. How are you guys getting on? I've destroyed my rear in 1 1/2 TDs and 400 mls.

  10. Loving mine on 959. Done about 600 miles so far and loads left on rear. I average around a 1000 from a rear and think these will do more. I got 900 miles out of a Rosso corsa for reference.

  12. tried on track yet?

  13. Nope only had 959 on once and had the rosso corsa on. It's my road bike.
I run slicks on my track bike.

  14. Mine looking ok still after 800 miles but I think they are not going to last as long as my M7RR. Will report after some more mileage.

  15. Great Tyres use them on my R1M
Only for the track NOT the road done 3 Track Days
Have got them on a Ducati as well ONLY for the road jury still out on that one lol

  16. What pressures you running on track? How is the rear holding up???

  17. And is he running them with warmers.

  18. Is it right that warmers help your tyres not fall to bits? It's not just instant grip?

  19. They keep a constant temp so therefore more constant psi. If you go too high in psi, they will still fall apart. Also helps with longevity as it keeps the number of heat cycles down

  20. Well that's expensive news. So to save on tyres I need to by a towbar, trailer and tyre warmers.
