not your fault mate, you only make the cursed things! I do think the thin ones look totally outta proportion with the standard units. Maybe with less chunky cabinet ( if poss!) they would look ok. Even the 20mm Granit looks shit imho, nicer if they are 40 even if just at the front for the look.
