  1. Wrong thread.

  2. You can do exactly the same with the multi. If you ride in the same way, head down much lower, you will find the noise reduces. But then it’s not comfy....and the rider looks a bit of a knob ;)

TBH with ear plugs and all the stiff you have done, I struggle to understand why someone would get rid of a great (best all round) bike on such a small thing.

  3. unless you're experiencing the noise/turbulence yourself and to the same degree thats not really a fair comment Bradders. With the little carbon screen on the bike was becoming unbearable to ride any further than the commute to work. With the mods I've carried out the bike is a dream.

I've just noticed in this thread I've been asked for the screen spacer measurements, I've just got in from work, but I'll just finish my coffee and I'll pop out to the garage and measure up

  4. I have. I have the same bike and often on line runs tuck in a little/move back as far as I can (and therefore look a knob).

There’s no doubt that the multi seems to not be great for wind blast.

  5. I’ve tried 4 different screens, 3 different helmets, 3 types of earplugs, all without success. If I’m honest, it takes away the enjoyment of riding it as I frequently get headaches after 120 mile+ runs. Test rode a few other bikes lately, and the difference is startling. Due to this and a few other issues I’ve had to consider, I’ve decided to change, just not 100% sure what to yet. Oh and I also tried the Palmer products bracket, with 3 of the screens.

  7. It looks like the spacers are made with a 3d printer does someone has the file of the spacer for me to enable to print them with my 3d printer?
I have a 1260 with Givi big touring screen and MRA adjustable top sreen

  8. Ok, so managed a quick 50 miles tonight along twisty B roads so not ideal. However there is another slight improvement with the spacers fitted. Between the MRA screen, spacers and earplugs (with filters) the wind noise is acceptable.

  9. Well thanks for update. If you get the chance to take stock of 70mph cruise . Maybe gets even better at speed?

  10. Just fitted a MRA screen and it is an improvement for me and my wife as pillion. Above 70 I found an improvement but my wife still said it was uncomfortable but better than stock screen. The spacers as shown in james85 I fitted last night. Going out for a motorway blast tonight so will let you know if it improves. Personally if the screens were made wider if might help some of the problem. If you order the spacers for the MRA screen make sure you advise them.

  12. what do they need to be advised about?

  13. Ive a pikes peak screen and i bought a 14e wind deflector on wish works a treat IMG_6796.JPG

  14. Just the fact its a MRA screen. The spacers have to be made specifically to for the screen

  15. I see did not realise that. Make sense though. Thanks

  16. I modified the MRA screen with a step drill to take the standard mounting grommets, worked a treat

  17. MRA screen and spacers make a difference i can confirm imo. Motorway speeds with reduced wind noise and buffering. Could easily hear my radio with filtered ear plugs in now. I’m 5,8 with inner seam of 32. Standard seat on high position.

  18. I've asked Jamie yesterday and he replied today, if ordering the spacers, make sure you tell him what bike, year and what type of screen they are being fitted too
