Winter commuter.

  1. Given the right clothes and shades, you'd probably score more easily on that than on the Duke.

    And you could park it in front of the Caffè Italia in Soho.

  3. XR400, set of Conti TKCs on it and you're away. Had a XR600R as a winter hack and loved riding it more than the "big" bike I had at the time. Even commuted in the snow and ice on it with little to know issues and Green Lane'd it with the TRF over the weekend. All the bodywork is plastic and can be easily replaced, your high and can see loads and for B road blasting once you have it set up you can get the pegs down on the TKCs and learn all about keeping speed through the corners, awesome bit of kit.

    Only sold mine as the commute changed to 5 miles and I cycle it when I'm not working away
