Went out on mine yesterday to work (dry for just the day)....cold, but I got my fix, back in the car today as its going to lash down this afternoon, still dry at the moment but not for long apparently.
This morning is cold, grey windy, and now drizzling.Any thoughts of biking in this are nowhere on the horizon.I have ridden in the past in the rain, cold ,and wind, but not when these conditions are all together. Twin pipes only likes to go out on warm and sunny days.
Tis lashing down now in Horsham-absolutely vile.Glad I don't live on the Somerset Levels, poor blighters.
I've not even started mine for at least 2 months let alone ride it........perhaps I should start a new thread 'do you start your bike over winter' .....:frown:
No don't do it! It'll drag on for days, I start mine I don't Best leave it be Bounce it up and down Drain the tank Take all the oil out Over inflate tyres Let then down Cover it in baby oil See you've got me at it now!
Hmm, roads round Swindon seem pretty dry, weathers warm, been 3 months now....bollox to it, I just can't take it anymore, time to awaken the beast I think.....if it will start :/
Cracking day today, got out about about 2.00 pm and went to my usual haunt, the "H" at Dorchester, big turn out, there was a tatty black 848, a black 900 Monster and an 1100 Multi, however star of the show was a beautiful freshly restored 1972 Suzuki GT 750 "Kettle" Had a nice gentle 30 mile round trip on perfect dry roads, my lovely old 600SS went like a dream. A good afternoon!
