if you have a multimeter you should be able to trace if the stater switch signal is getting to the solenoid. if it is then give the solenoid a couple of sharp taps with hammer, (or if your brave take the cover off and (briefly) short it with pair of (old & shitty) pliers to see if the starter turns if the starter switch signal isn't getting to the solenoid then i'd suspect the switch or loom
