Wooden you just know it ?

A beech and a birch tree were argueing in the forest.."I am the greatest for I am a Son of a Beech!" said one. "I am the Greastest of the forest trees for I am A SON of a Birch.."..This went one for weeks..Finally a woodpecker alights among the branches..he says.." well,you are both wrong, I just came from the other side of the forest..and I found the best piece of ASH I've had my pecker in

 

I thought this had been consigned to the compost heap for recycling!

Yew lot are unbe-leaf-able, who wood have thought it? Knot me, that's for sure. I'm going out on a limb here but if you don't branch out in to some thing else and spruce this thread up a bit you'll be putting down roots and we'll never chop it down. Acorns.

Well, lets not fence anyone in, or drive a wedge between anyone. Lets keep things at roots level and not branch out.
