It's the way to do it. Or even better stay in Cattolica and enjoy a proper Italian seaside resort. Its a good walk to the circuit but I have done it a few times now.

We stayed in one that had an underground garage. I will see if I can find it. The kind receptionist even took our base layer washing home with her and brought it back fresh and clean the next day.
