V2 Worth The Wait??

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Expat Jack, Oct 30, 2022.

  1. My first Ducati was a 748R. A bit of a Jeckle-and-Hyde bike for me. At some tracks it was sublime, at others it was a bitch. It ran out of oomph at the Nurburgring, so I changed it for a 1098S.

  6. Love the V2, my standard one gets compliments but have to admit the bayliss is a stunning bike.

Looks stunning that for sure, hopefully the ohlins suspension sorts out the only weakness ive found with my standard V2 (And 959), the rear is woeful at best and really lets down an otherwise quality bike

Enjoy the riding, if it puts as much smile per mile on for you as my V2 youll never want to ride anything else!

  15. Nerve wracking morning as I needed to fit optimate lead. That’s an upper and lower left hand side fairings off job. Anyway, fortune favours the bold and my dread was not realised. All off, lead fitted and back on within 45 minutes.
And the Ti calliper spacers arrived as I was doing it so chucked them on too.

  18. I don’t need encouragement as you well know. 5.5 inch rear is what I will go for. I love the Ti colour on the Oz wheels.
