  3. Bit of a way to go though :(

  5. No worries. I guess my remark might have come across as a bit flippant...
Hope you find the bike you're looking for.

  6. I have found a dealer who has a new (still unregistered) SP with 0 miles, willing to give me £1300 off, including high level termi... I want to see if he can throw in a couple of other bits and maybe I have it!

  7. I bought a 4 month old demo SF from the dealer that services my Ducatis. It had done about 250 miles when I bought it,and I was/still am delighted with it.
If you have a dealer you know and trust I think demo bikes are a good buy if you are not fussed about being the first to ride it.

  8. really? interesting. I read only good reviews about them

  9. just bought one. less than 250 miles. got a great deal on it

  10. Opinions are like arseholes fella; everyone has one

  11. So do I...I wrote one...they are really helpful.
But my comment on the chain stands...

  12. So good service, helpful and quality work yet rubbish their rep based on s dry chain on a demo?!

  13. Paul the comment was based on the fact that I was given a motorcycle with a bone dry chain, that was tight and noisy; which is an MOT failure.
I point the fact out upon returning the bike and it raised not one bit of concern.
So yes, their previous helpful nature was tainted enough by this fundamental oversight, that means I wouldn't return.

The same would happen if I found the wheel nuts loose after a wheel change at a garage.

  14. sometimes its better to stay with a garage that's boob'd

  15. Paul I once posted JHP were expensive when someone asked for cheap trackday bike builder and I got threats from the man himself on PM plus other hate mail. Hope Snells don't see fit to come after you as you have stated fact they shouldn't be used. And IMHO on the basis of nothing

That's not because friends work there btw, if you said this about JHP id say the same

  16. didnt know gs riders looked at chains :Bag:
