The first superbikes race was a good battle and the 2nd was dull. But the Supersport race was amazing. Cracking ride from Sam Lowes. Hopefully next year there'll be a few more bikes on the grid.
i was seated on the stand at the start/finish line..like looking at a scalextric track and the racing was utterly boring.
Its being said that in Spain, Motogp is the only class anybody cares about. Not helped by the country being a tad short on the cash

It's not as good as it used to be, maybe because it has less characters - no Haga, Bayliss and Foggy et al. However, there's been numerous race winners this year and the title is up for grabs and there has been some good racing. It was a poor turnout in Portimao though as a lot of the stands were almost empty. In many ways, I think the greedy bastards at Dorna are to blame. It's not on terrestrial telly, every You Tube clip is instantly removed as are a great many images posted on the internet. I know it's their intellectual property but it restricts access to it and therefore interest in it wanes and what they are doing is self defeating. It needs a shot in the arm, more coverage, more characters and Dorna needs to work harder to promote it. All that Dorna seems to have done recently is fuck Ducati and make the teams fit stupid headlight lookalike stickers to the bikes !
trouble with sbk you cant get to see it terristrial tv need to show it, MCN mentioned attendences down at races ,well i can understand motogp been boring for years buy sbk was always closer
