  1. Yes, facts will be forgotten. Why did Kawasaki get docked 500rpm ? Why were factories made to supply equal machinery to satellite and independent teams ? Why were teams restricted to the number of engines they were allowed to use ? Why were teams no longer allowed to use separate engines for qualifying ? All decisions supposedly aimed at making a level playing field to compete against Kawasaki and JR. And let’s not forget, the Ducati V4 RS was penalised before it even turned a wheel in competition. 2. WTF seriously

  3. If it wasn’t a level playing field then Ducati would finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. they didn’t which suggests it was fair.

Whilst low rider weight will have some benefits, it will also come with some disadvantages too.

  4. Great title win for Ducati and Bautista. He’s a world class rider making the most of the tools he is given: naturally and mechanically. Kawasaki for years had plenty of ‘specials’ no’s one else could have. Chassis, engines….

At least the next race rep will be for two reigning title holders and not from 2 decades and more ago :joy::joy:

Woiod love to see how they set a minimum combined weight. And where will they put the 15kgs on his bike….

  5. They won’t actually put weight on the bike - Alvaro is going to be force fed Italian style over the closed season so he ends up like the other porky riders.

  6. I’m not a Rea fan but I genuinely think if he wasn’t being slowed down by dorna he’d probs have backed to backed the championships non stop.

  7. He was on that Honda, which was a missile and even the Yam and kwak say it’s fast, and didn’t win. It’s a shame everyone is putting it down to power: a couple of the passes he made heaters, when he didn’t need to, shower his class. There are genuinely 3 world class riders in the paddock: and they finished 1-2-3

  8. Let's put this in perspective what AB / Topcat / Rea, the three boys out in front were miles ahead of their team mates or the same branded bike, just look at the standings points wise.

  9. It's properly dull... I dunno, I'm sure it's just me but WSBK is just such a snooze fest now, they don't even snap away from the top 3 riders and show mid pack battles, they literally watch the lead/2nd rider the whole race and insert some replays from down field.

  10. Aren't they all like that throughout the sporting season in all disciphines after 10 odd laps.

  11. Yeah, it's getting really bad across the board, I think they wanted high deg tyres because they think it will create good racing but it doesn't, just like limiting their fuel doesn't create good racing. I think they need to maybe think about taking the races down to something like 15-18 laps in general, and having tyres that are really able to be pushed. It 'Might' just make it closer.

  12. Definitely won’t be a Pirelli then

  13. Who knows what pill could be added into the mix for more exciting races, but it's been like this forever where the front runners dominate the proceedings all season.

  14. Alvaro looks less than enthusiastic testing the 'additional weight device helmet liner', carefully fabricated in depleted uranium and dressed in Ducati team colours, just presented to him by Scott Reading and six times world champion Jonathan Rae.

  15. Hayden and Whit were saying it could happen but it more than likely wont and if it did, they'd be able to place the weight were they wanted (ie low down).

That would surely change the dynamics of a bike thats been built and youd end up having to build two different bikes or chassis for two different sized riders? Or am i being thick (again etc..)?

  16. To be fair you could say that about BSB and MGP too this season.
Bridewell and Ohalloran dropped away in the showdown and only Fabio kept Pecco honest in MGP if we're being brutally honest.

  17. So my patent for lead fairings and mudguards doesn't look so daft now, does it!
