I dunno Bradders, Rinaldi was clearly fast & as soon as he got past the Kwacks, he put some space between them. Both him & Redding looked faster in & out of the corners than anything else to me too. Kinda looked like the other riders felt like it too. Guess we’ll see!
Straightline the Yamaha and kawasaki were as fast/faster. The Ducati seems to be a much better package this year, looking how Chas managed. You wonder if having Redding, who’s a bigger guy, on the other bike helps Chas with settings
Nice to the the MV triple mixing it with the 600 clones too, although Locatelli was in a class of his own!
Agree, but that has nothing to do with outright power, only chassis, suspension and tyre setup, plus rider ability. Straight line speed they were all pretty much equal. It shows up when someone had better grip on exit, then they get a run and can pass with slipstream too. The rest will complain though....that's what they do.
Chas when he passed Rae and had the bike powering out, rear was like a rally car out of line and front was lifting. Total commitment and trust in tyre and electronics
