I sense that Sykes is a bit of a loner and doesn't have many friends in the paddock. The truth is in Malaysia Baz was overtaking someone else when he accidentally took Sykes out. It sounds like Sykes completely lost it in the box and had a complete uncontrolled rage when he rounded on Baz. Understandably Baz appears to have held a grudge and was not disposed to help Sykes following very public criticism from his "teammate". The relationship between the two seemed fine until Baz started to become more competitive.
