don't fuck about and just not pay your insurance as not only will cover be withdrawn but you will be shafted when you try to reinsure!
I went with Swindon bikes for the new diavel. Used vin number initially then informed them of the reg when I had it.
I thought Swinton may do it. I am now through Adelaide Ins. Been good with me, worth a call, they can only say no otherwise I would just take it out on a payment scheme then cancel. Even if it costs £100 or so your still quids in.
Having done this myself, most companies will insure you on the VIN you will also get the MOT on the VIN. Once you are MOT'd you get all your docs to the DVLA they give you the registration docs V5 and an authority to get a number plate and they will issue you a new MOT with the registration number. Once all done call the insurance company tell them your new number. I used MCE Don't bother with temporary insurance just get a policy with it starting with the VIN usually lasts 1 - 2 weeks.
The issue is not whether or not he can get insurance - he can quite easily - it's whether or not he can get reasonably priced insurance. That's the question.
Thanks for that. Tried that before, it links to eBike who doesn't take policies unless the bike is already registered.
You guys don't know when you've got it good double or triple those quotes over here. No claims bonus and experience means f all first your too young then your too old, bikes too big bikes too small. As for Carol Nash bunch of robbers quote changes from minute to minute or depending on the weather. Regardless what it says in the add insurance companies are in the money making business and could give a flying about you.
