I'd have a cat d car but not sure about a bike. I like to know it's not going to fall apart underneath me. On the other hand part of me wishes I'd purchased it and broke it for bits over winter as I could of made a bit. But I ended up financially ok anyway so at least it's not my problem to sell now
I bet there are a lot of bikes out there that have had Cat C or D damage and the insurance companies were not involved. Just put back together by the owners.
I agree completely . That's why I tend to buy new bikes as it's easier to know e history. I've been in the motor trade for 13 years now so I've definetly seen some bodges before lol
Mine is a Cat C, it was my mates bike he had a little spill so I knew exactly what happened. I had the chance to have good look over it before I bought it. Stands me at about £8k done, its always the little bits that you cant see that add up. It kept me busy over winter, I have done about 4000 miles on it this year and 3 days at Jerez. Chances are when I do come to sell it in x amount of years I will just break it as it will be worth more in parts Before During After d8mok if Id have bought your bike if I would have know.
Nice job there Paul. Love the lifting gear. That's the sort of improvising I do, the missus goes berserk!
I had to make a instant decsion so i couldnt of advertised it or asked about. In hindsight i wish i had bought it back but at the time i had other stuff that needed sorting. I had quite a few people asking to buy it actually.
