I've got a new sc project on my hyper and to say it's of low quality is just total rubbish! It's superbly built and comes with everything needed to install on the bike. Very happy with my choice!
That looks great Jason, mine is the low stubby version, do you find it noisy, bloody noisy or damn right riotous noisy! I am in the riotous camp...it's that loud
I'd say it's in the middle of being way to loud to being to quite. I like loud pipes and to me it's not far from perfect as it sounds bloody lovely but doesn't leave your ears ringing after a ride. I've still got the cat in place but going for new headers soon, which will remove it, and a re-flash so I think it'll get a touch louder... Which isn't a bad thing!
Did you not opt for the air fuel modifier then? Handy bit of kit, plug and play, simple just took a few runs and knob turning to get it set right. The CRT-T is race only but as you say it's not really a bad thing, not much chance anyone claiming they didn't hear me coming
Haha I bet it's mental loud! They look great and I kind of wished SC made that version for 1st gen hypers but they don't. I couldn't see the point in getting the fuel controller tbh as I knew that I wanted to get a full system, remove the airbox and get velocity stacks so a re-flash is by far the best option. Also that way I can disable the exhaust flap as the ECU lights comes on now and again due to it being taken off
Hey Cam, have you put your Zard on yet? How do you like it? When you get around to it, be great to hear to hear a sound clip. Let me know how it went...
Hey Spanky, Yeah got the Zard installed and cat removed. Also had it remapped. Very happy with it. I like the style and the sound is nice a deep with the Cat removed. I don't think the sound would ever be as good as my old 750SS carburetored Duc but it's still a lovely note. Here's a video my kind wife shot for me not really understanding why I'd need such a video clip. Videos never seem to bring out the depth of the sound.
