Ride one Buzz, nothing like a Jap bike that I've ever rode, and defo don't sound like one. Got to be one of the best superbikes I've ridden thanks to @Desmo Dave If I had the cash Id be on my way to Manchester right now, but then Id have already got one when they first come out. I guess DM are giving the buyer a free three years service as they did from new for the marked up price?
I may be wrong as I usually am but isn't that a 50% mark up on the price when they first came out? Profiteering, shrewd business sense or looking for a sucker, delete as appropriate.
Fair point Arthur, I should ride one before judging it. I cant help wondering however if it can possibly be worth about three times the price of a 1299?
I did come away with a greater appreciation of what you do get in a bike at 10-15 grand, BUT none of them are the thrill of the D16! I was hooked! If you win the lotto Buzz don't forget me
